UNIMAC
RUBBER EXPANSION JOINTS
* The Unimac Expansion Joints are indispensible
in protecting piping & equipment systems
from stress, vibration. Noise, thermal expansion
& other movements.
* Its high quality rubber & structure
proves to be more advantageous than metallic
expansion joints, pipe bends loops as it
requires Less Space, is Lighter In Weight
& is Corrosion resistant.
* It Compensates for Axial, Lateral, Torsional
& angular movements.
* Reduces Mechanical Vibration & Shocks.
* Helps in Reducing Noise & reduction
of Heat Loss.
* Absorbs high pressure surges.
UNIMAC RUBBER EXPANSION JOINTS are
available in Single Arch Type
* The standard face to face dimensions are
available in this design.
* Constructed with high grade synthetic
& neoprene rubber, reinforced with nylon
chords & metal rings to withstand high
pressures.
* Rubber faced flange is of sufficient thickness
to form a tight seat against metal flanges
without the use of gasket.
* Unimac expansion joints are also available
with control rod assembly plays a vital
role in with standing movements originating
from dynamic equipment during operation.
They are recommended where piping system
are unanchored or unsupported.
* Where the normal operating pressure is
exceeded control rod assembly must be used.
* Control rod assemblies are recommended
on spring mounted pumps & equipments
& are easy to install & align.
